Put on your game face and join Patients First Health Care for the second annual Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on Saturday, April 9, 2011. The tournament will take place at the American Legion Post #297 on Washington Avenue in Union. Proceeds will benefit local area ambulance districts. This is the second fundraising tournament to be held by Patients First Health Care for local ambulance districts. The 2010 event raised $10,000, which was split between two randomly chosen ambulance districts – Gerald and Marthasville. Both districts were able to purchase much needed equipment for their ambulances, with Gerald securing pediatric equipment and Marthasville obtaining a power cot. Doors for the April 9th event open at 5 pm for registration. The tournament begins at 6 pm with a $40 buy-in. Players will have the opportunity to re-buy one time for an additional $40.00.
