Washington, MO Municipal Election Information

The Washington, Missouri municipal election will be held on April 6, 2010.  Four city council seats, as well as the mayor seat are on the ballot, and all are contested races.

Also on the ballot are uncontested races for City Attorney and Municipal Judge.  Mark C. Piontek is the only candidate who filed for City Attorney, while Craig E. Hellmann is the only candidate who filed for Municipal Judge.

A single proposition is on the ballot -- a renewal of a 1/2 cent capital improvement sales tax.  That proposition would extend the existing tax, set to expire June 30, 2010, through June 30, 2018.
