MoDOT To Switch Eastbound I-44 Lanes This Weekend |

Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber Inc., will make a traffic switch on eastbound Interstate 44 between the Pacific and Route 100 (Washington, MO) exits starting Saturday night/Sunday morning, weather permitting. Crews will close the outside lane on eastbound Interstate 44. Traffic will be moved to the two inside lanes along the barrier wall. Motorists can still access the Gray Summit and Route 100 (Washington, MO) exits except during limited overnight hours. Motorists can expect delays during these lane closures. This traffic switch on the eastbound lanes will remain for approximately three weeks. Crews will work around the clock seven days a week to replace the outside lane and shoulder along Interstate 44. The speed limit remains 50 miles per hour in this section of interstate. |
