MoDOT Reschedules Division of Two Eastbound Lanes on I-44 for August 10 |

Missouri Department of Transportation will divide the two eastbound lanes on Interstate 44 between the Route 100 (Washington, MO) and Pacific exits starting Tuesday, August 10 at 7 p.m. This work was postponed from Monday, August 9. Crews will shift traffic to the new inside lane along the barrier wall. One lane of traffic will remain on the outside lane. Motorists can expect delays during these lane closures. Traffic on the inside lane will not be able to exit at Gray Summit. This traffic split will remain for approximately two weeks. Crews will work around the clock seven days a week to replace the center lane. MoDOT will divide the two westbound lanes on Interstate 44 between the same exits, as the work on eastbound I-44 nears completion. The speed limit remains 50 miles per hour in this section of interstate. |
