EVENT RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS: This event has been rescheduled to Friday and Saturday, January 29 & 30 due to weather conditions. The event will be held in the City Council Chamber from 9-5 both days. -------- Original announcement with updated dates: The Washington Public Library Board of Trustees and Horn Architects & FEH Associates, the architects chosen to do the library expansion design, will be hosting an architectural design charrette on Friday and Saturday, January 29 & 30, 2010 for the purpose of receiving public input on the design. The architects will be literally working on the design as suggestions are given. The public is invited to attend any time during these two days to make suggestions or to just watch the process. The charrette will take place in the City Council Chamber in City Hall, 405 Jefferson Street, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days. Interested individuals may stay for the entire day, or come for just part of the day, either or both days. By the time the charrette is over on Saturday, the architects should have an almost complete design for the expansion of the library into both floors of the existing building.
