Parents as Teachers "Pops and PJs" Event Held

The School District of Washington's Parents as Teachers program held a "Pops and PJs" event for dads and kids on Tuesday evening at the Parents as Teachers facility in Washington, Missouri.  The kids came dressed in their PJs and spent time playing with their dads before taking a break to read a book.  The children each received a book to take home; dads received a handout on the value of father and other adult male involvement in children's lives, as well as handouts on how to integrate books into playtime at various ages.
