According to Judy Wagner, Area Engineer for MoDOT, the Route 47 Missouri River bridge in Washington, Missouri could open as soon as the end of the weekend.  Crews are on target to finish painting by late this week, Wagner added.  But that is all dependent on good weather for the remainder of the week.

In addition to opening the bridge to two-way traffic, restrictions on Washington, Missouri city streets would be lifted as well.

Once re-opened, final bridge work, including cleanup and removal of temporary signals, would be done.  That final work would include temporary reduction in lanes during non-peak hours.

Check back at WashMo.com later this week for additional details on the re-opening of the bridge.
