Strong Wind, Storms Hit Washington

Storms packing strong winds made their way through Washington, Missouri Sunday night.  According to Ameren, as many as 3,000 customers were without of power in the 63090 zip code through midmorning on Monday.  As of 5:40p on Monday, just over 400 customers in the area remained without power.

The School District of Washington canceled school on Monday, due to "power outages in several of the District's buildings, and the reported closure of the Highway 47 bridge".
